Today, the DC Council voted to make it easier for residents to access utility affordability programs. People who are eligible for help with their bills shouldn't have to spend hours navigating confusing forms, they should get it automatically. Let’s give people their time back.

In ward after ward, we heard the same thing: Childcare is much too expensive in DC, and it's hurting families. Universal affordable childcare is one of my top priorities, and I'd love to hear your ideas for how we can achieve it together.

DC’s greatest asset is our people, and so I’m honored that roughly 4,000 Washingtonians attended our Building the People’s Government listening tour over the past month.
